Of course, we take account of sensitive compliance requirements and industry-specific codes. A transparent cooperation is our top priority. We act according to the regulations of the professional associations such as the Transparency Code by the EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations) and by MedTech Europe. The MedTech Europe code says that, as a general principle, any third party organised educational event, e. g. Euro CTO Club, can only be supported by way of an educational grant from industry to healthcare/professional organisations, e.g. the ECC Club for the upcoming Euro CTO Club Meeting 2020 in Berlin. No longer with direct support to individual HCPs. Therefore, an independent organisation could be in charge of inviting and selecting HCP participants at the ECC 2020, possibly according to specific criteria provided by industry partners.
